About the Role:

We are looking for a versatile, driven to succeed, positive tradesperson to join our team in the role of Construction Plumber - 306A.

Key Responsibilities:

• Load, unload materials, tools, supplies and work machinery from truck or trailer.
• Read and interpret drawings.
• Install, repair, and maintain domestic, commercial, or industrial plumbing fixtures and systems.
• Locate and mark positions for pipe connections, passage holes and fixtures in walls and floors.
• Cut opening in walls and floors to accommodate pipe and pipe fittings.
• Join pipes using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement, or soldering, brazing, and welding equipment.
• Test pipes for leaks using air and water pressure gauges.
• Determine piping system requirements and pipe sizing.
• Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used.
• Provide friendly, respectful service to customers on site.
• Comply with all safety procedures and plumbing codes.
• Perform any trade-related tasks, as required.

Qualifications:

• This is a must: Plumbing Trade in Ontario ? 306A Journeyperson Category.
• Possess valid Class G driver?s licence and clean driving abstract.
• May be subject to provide a clean criminal record check.

Working Conditions:

• Physically demanding role
• Must be able to work full time - Monday to Thursday
• Must be able to work on various work sites.
• May be required to work sparingly out of town during the workweek.
• Must participate in the Friday on-call rotation.
• Must provide own CSA steel-toe boots and personal hand tools.
