About the role
The positions primary responsibility is core and clamp set up, core stacking, accepting coils from Winding Department, installing head steel, complete termination of High Voltage (HV) and Low Voltage (LV) units, and tank preparation. WHAT YOU WILL DO Set up core and clamp components by verifying measurements, preparing insulation packages, and staging core steel for assembly.Build and secure the core stack according to drawings, including clamping, doweling, banding, and stabilizing the assembly.Receive and install coils and head steel safely, then complete blocking and move the assembled unit to the termination area.Perform high- and low-voltage termination work, including finishing brazed joints, inspections, and wrapping lead connections.Prepare the tank by checking fit and placement of bushings, valves, radiators, gaskets, and internal components, and cleaning the tank interior.
