The ideal candidate will be organized, motivated, meticulous, and driven; previous experience as an estimator in a manufacturing company would be an asset. International company with 18 manufacturing sites across North America. 

Responsibilities and duties:

• Prepare the work to be estimated by gathering all information from internal sales;
• Obtain material pricing and perform cost analysis;
• Review product specifications to accurately determine material quantities required;
• Write quotes and other documents accurately to create and submit proposals to clients;
• Ensure estimates are completed in a timely manner;
• Establish and maintain working relationships with other departments such as sales, planning, purchasing, customer service, production, and shipping;
• Contribute to team efforts by achieving related results as needed;

Skill Requirements:

• Proven estimating experience (preferably in a manufacturing and/or technical environment);
• Detail-oriented and high analytical skills;
• Proficient at completing analysis and reports using Excel;
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills;
• Strong listening and presentation skills;
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively; 
• Ability to work in an organized manner and in a fast-paced environment;
• Ability to work in team;  
• Ability to use computer tools (Microsoft Office, accounting, CRM, etc.).
