The Plasterer will prepare surfaces by cleaning, leveling, and applying appropriate base coats, then finish walls and ceilings with plaster or stucco to required specifications. Daily tasks include mixing materials, installing lath or mesh, applying coats evenly, smoothing and sanding surfaces, and repairing cracks or damaged areas. The role also involves reading basic drawings or instructions, working safely on ladders or scaffolding, and maintaining tools and equipment in good condition. The Plasterer will collaborate with supervisors and other trades on scheduling and site coordination, while following all safety and quality procedures. Qualifications

Proficiency in plastering techniques, including applying and finishing plaster on interior walls and ceilings. Experience working with stucco and related exterior finishes. Strong commitment to safe work practices. Ability to work with ceilings, including overhead application, finishing, and repairs. Previous experience as a Plasterer or in a similar construction finishing role. Ability to read and follow basic construction plans and instructions. Physical ability to lift materials, stand for extended periods, and work on ladders or scaffolding. Reliable transportation to job sites in and around Winnipeg, MB. Strong attention to detail, time management, and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
