About the role
IMARK is a metal fabrication and architectural cladding company working on custom, high-visibility projects across Edmonton and beyond. From commercial features to detailed architectural pieces, our work shows up on buildings and public spaces throughout the city. We’re looking for a Machine Operator who knows their way around a shop floor.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Set up, program, and operate CNC machines and press brakes
- Read and interpret shop drawings and blueprints to plan your work
- Work with bend deductions, material behaviour, and tolerances
- Check parts against drawings using tape, callipers, and other measuring tools
- Adjust programs and setups to ensure accuracy and repeatability
- Handle a mix of custom and production work—not just repetitive runs
- Keep your area organized and safe, and work in line with shop procedures
What We’re Looking For
- 2+ years of hands-on experience with CNC machines and/or press brakes
- Strong understanding of bending, forming, and material tolerances
- Ability to read and work from technical drawings without hand-holding
- Comfortable doing your own setup and basic programming adjustments
- Solid grasp of quality control and measuring tools
- Good awareness of shop safety and workflow
- Someone who takes ownership of their work and doesn’t cut corners
What the Work Looks Like
We’re building a team of people who:
- care about the quality of what they put out
- understand how their work affects the next step
- want to work with others who know what they’re doing
Why IMARK
-
Work on custom, high-visibility projects
-
Opportunity to build skills beyond repetitive production work
-
Be part of a solid crew with experienced tradespeople
-
