The organization values collaboration, customer focus, and continuous improvement. Role Description The VFD Sales Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in the Greater Toronto Area, Canada. This role is responsible for promoting and selling VFD solutions, identifying customer needs, and recommending appropriate products and configurations. Day-to-day activities include visiting customer sites, preparing technical and commercial proposals, delivering product presentations, and following up on leads and opportunities. The VFD Sales Engineer collaborates with internal technical teams to provide pre-sales and post-sales support, including troubleshooting, commissioning guidance, and application advice. The role also involves maintaining strong customer relationships, responding to inquiries, managing quotations, and contributing to sales targets and market development in the region. Qualifications Strong sales engineering and technical support skills, with the ability to understand VFD applications and motor control systems. Proven capability in sales and customer service, including building relationships, managing accounts, and achieving sales objectives. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences. Relevant experience in industrial automation, electrical engineering, or power electronics; VFD-specific experience is highly beneficial. Diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience. Comfort working on-site with customers, including occasional travel within the Greater Toronto Area and surrounding regions. Proficiency with standard office and CRM software, and the ability to prepare professional proposals and reports. Self-motivated, organized, and capable of working both independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
