About the role
Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years. Tasks: Collect and analyze data and samples. Perform physical and chemical laboratory tests. Maintain and complete inspection and grading reports. Conduct routine laboratory tests and sample analyses. Conduct routine tests for product specifications. Maintain clean and safe work environment. Advise senior management. Grade and label raw materials or finished products. Test products for strength, density, durability and conformity to specifications. Coordinate the flow of information within the team. Collect samples and perform other laboratory tests. Computer and technology knowledge: MS Excel. MS Outlook. MS PowerPoint. MS Word. MS Windows. Technical experience: Soil analysis. Additional sector experience: Mineral resources and/or mining. Transportation/travel information: Valid driver's licence. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment. Handling heavy loads. Attention to detail. Ability to work independently.
