Key Duties Include:

• Stacks, packs and assembles core and coil of various sizes, generally smaller and less complex than in Power
• Work follows generally established methods and procedures which may be complex in nature, requiring a limited choice of action
• Add core laminations as specified
• Add mountings as specified
• Block, pack and square core and coil as specified

Do you qualify? We are seeking:

• Must have good knowledge of copper and aluminum welding – gas & TIG
• High degree of judgment exercised based on knowledge and interpretation of specifications
• Knowledge of methods, practices, techniques, terms, definitions and standards required in the manufacture of transformers.

Full-time Hourly Starting Rate - $27.73 Shift and Premium Pay Available:
$1.00/hr. – Afternoon shift premium
$2.50/hr. – Dedicated trainer premium
$3.00/hr. – Shift advisor premium

Full range - $27.73 - $31.51 – as per the collective agreement
