Key Duties Include:
- Stacks, packs and assembles core and coil of various sizes, generally smaller and less complex than in Power
- Work follows generally established methods and procedures which may be complex in nature, requiring a limited choice of action
- Add core laminations as specified
- Add mountings as specified
- Block, pack and square core and coil as specified
Do you qualify? We are seeking:
- Must have good knowledge of copper and aluminum welding – gas & TIG
- High degree of judgment exercised based on knowledge and interpretation of specifications
- Knowledge of methods, practices, techniques, terms, definitions and standards required in the manufacture of transformers.
Full-time Hourly Starting Rate - $27.73 Shift and Premium Pay Available:
$1.00/hr. – Afternoon shift premium
$2.50/hr. – Dedicated trainer premium
$3.00/hr. – Shift advisor premium
Full range - $27.73 - $31.51 – as per the collective agreement
