About the role
Overview We are currently seeking an experienced and versatile Carpenter to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a background in carpentry, including building, fabricating, and restoring a variety of structures. This role requires a high level of physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to accurately interpret blueprints and construction plans.
Our work primarily focuses on commercial renovations and new builds, offering a dynamic and varied work environment. On any given day, you could be involved in tasks such as demolition, flooring, framing, concrete forming, painting, or landscaping.

Responsibilities
- Construct, install, and repair wood, plywood, and drywall structures and fixtures.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and project plans.
- Perform a variety of tasks, including flooring installation, framing, drywall, cabinetry, stair installation, and finish carpentry.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and CNC machinery for precise cuts and custom designs.
- Build frameworks for walls, roofs, and door frames; restore or replace damaged structural components.
- Complete masonry work and other general construction tasks as needed.
- Ensure all work is plumb, level, square, and up to code.
- Collaborate effectively with other tradespeople and team members to meet project deadlines.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
Skills & Requirements
- Proven ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings.
- Strong skills in layout, measuring, cutting, and installation.
- Familiarity with local building codes and safety regulations.
- Physically fit with the ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy objects.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to visualize the finished product.
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently or as part of a team.
- Experience working with sub-contractors and managing time effectively on-site.
- Valid driver?s license, reliable vehicle, and basic tools required.
- Willingness to travel for out-of-town work (living-out allowance provided).

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00-$28.00 per hour

- Carpentry: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- Fall Protection Certification (preferred)
