Job description:

15 minutes from Fredericton Northside and Southside. We are seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical background and a passion for automotive repair. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles to ensure they operate safely and efficiently. The Automotive Technician will work closely with customers to provide exceptional service and support.

Duties

• Diagnose and troubleshoot vehicle issues using diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Perform automotive repairs including engine, transmission, brakes, and electrical systems.
• Assemble and disassemble vehicle components as needed for repairs.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various repair tasks.
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating repair needs and recommendations clearly.
• Conduct routine maintenance checks on vehicles to ensure optimal performance.
• Assist in heavy lifting of automotive parts and equipment as required.
• Weld components when necessary to complete repairs or modifications.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Automotive Technician or similar role in the automotive industry.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive repair.
• Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks associated with automotive repairs.
• A valid driver's license is preferred; Red seal certification is a plus but not required.
• A willingness to learn new techniques and stay updated on industry advancements.
