About the role
Education: No degree, certificate or diploma. Work site environment: Outdoors. Noisy. Dusty. Tasks: Load, unload and transport construction materials. Perform pre-operational inspection. Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks shoring and barricades. Mix, pour and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt. Level earth to fine grade specifications. Clean and pile salvaged materials. Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites. Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction. Direct traffic at or near construction sites. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment. Work under pressure. Physically demanding. Tight deadlines. Repetitive tasks. Handling heavy loads. Attention to detail.
