A&J Mechanical Inc. is a growing mechanical contractor serving residential and commercial clients throughout Manitoba. We pride ourselves on quality workmanship, professionalism, and strong customer relationships. We are currently looking for a skilled and motivated HVAC Service Technician to join our team.

Responsibilities

• Service, diagnose, and repair commercial and light commercial HVAC equipment
• Perform preventative maintenance on rooftop units, furnaces, make-up air units, boilers, exhaust systems, and air conditioning equipment
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues efficiently
• Complete service calls in a professional and timely manner
• Communicate clearly with customers regarding findings and repair recommendations
• Maintain accurate service documentation and reports
• Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with codes and company standards
• Participate in occasional on-call rotation as required
• Light ductwork/ventilation installation and modifications

Qualifications

• Experience servicing commercial or light commercial HVAC systems
• Gas Fitter license preferred (or registered apprentice)
• Refrigeration experience considered an asset
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Valid Class 5 driver?s license
• Professional attitude and strong customer service skills

Pay: $30.00-$50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
