The Opportunity

TruGreen Metal is growing across the Canadian prairies and with that comes opportunities for the right individuals to grow and advance within our company.

We are looking for highly motivated and skilled individuals to come on board as Yard Attendant / Labourer.

The full-time position will be based out of Olds, Alberta. Rate of pay is dependant upon experience.

How you’ll spend your time

• Sorting and cleaning up metal
• Customer Service
• General labour
• Operating forklift, skid steer, and excavator
• Other tasks as required

Qualifications & Experience

• Ability to perform physically demanding duties. Physical fitness is required with the ability to lift 50lbs or more.
• Class 1A licence is considered an asset
• Equipment Operating experience is considered an asset
• High degree of respect for equipment and safe work practices.
• Take pride and accountability in your work.
• Willingness to learn and develop new skills.
• Excellent communicator who works best in a team environment.
• Ability to adapt to change.
• Use problem solving skills while using good judgement.

This position requires candidates to

• Successfully complete pre-employment screening including drug and alcohol testing.
• Successfully complete a background check.
• Work full time hours Monday to Friday from 8am to 5pm

All positions require background screening. Field positions require a clean driver’s abstract, criminal record check, and drug and alcohol testing to comply with regulations.
