Position Summary
Acuren Wind is seeking an experienced Bronto Operator to support our growing operations across Canada. In this role, you'll travel to wind farms nationwide, working alongside our field technicians to safely support wind blade inspections and repairs. If you enjoy travel and being part of a skilled team in the renewable energy industry, we'd love to hear from you. Position Details: Regular Full-Time Position 6 weeks on/1 week off Rotation Start date: July 2026
Responsibilities
Drive and transport Bronto Skylift vehicles and equipment to various job sites in compliance with road safety regulations Perform pre-operational checks on the equipment to ensure it is safe and functional before use Conduct routine maintenance and minor repairs on the Bronto Skylift. Follow all safety protocols and work procedures while operating the lift and working at height. Complete necessary documentation such as equipment logs and safety checklists. Set up and stabilize equipment at job sites following manufacturer guidelines and site conditions Assist with elevated tasks such as inspections, installations, repairs, and maintenance on structures or equipment
Requirements
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES: Comprehensive understanding of Bronto Skylift aerial work platforms, including setup, stabilization, and operation Skilled in driving and maneuvering large vehicles in various conditions, including urban, rural, and off-road environments Ability to manage and maintain accurate records, including driving logs, equipment inspections, and maintenance reports Ability to perform physically demanding tasks such as climbing, lifting, and working in confined spaces EDUCATION: Valid DZ license (in Ontario) or Class 3 driver’s license or higher equivalency with a clean driving record High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
