You Will
Create a welcoming, friendly environment for guests and fellow team members by delivering exceptional customer service. Assist guests whenever possible to ensure they have a safe and enjoyable mountain experience. Supervise and train team members on the safe operation and use of rental and heavy equipment. Safely operate a variety of heavy equipment as required to support mountain operations. Continuously look for opportunities to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the heavy equipment program. Ensure equipment-related tasks are completed safely, accurately, and in a timely manner. Support the Slopes team to maintain high morale, teamwork, and exceptional service standards. Monitor the condition and operational status of the equipment fleet, identifying and communicating any mechanical concerns. Prepare accurate weekly, monthly, and annual operational reports. Lead and facilitate regular crew meetings. Review daily equipment inspections and maintenance records to ensure fleet readiness. Work closely with management to maintain safe slopes, equipment, and work environments for guests and employees. Participate in on-call rotations and carry a phone or radio to respond to operational issues or emergencies as required. Report any hazards, damage, or unusual occurrences to the Slopes Manager promptly. Communicate operational information effectively while promoting accountability and adherence to organizational procedures. Follow and promote Resorts of the Canadian Rockies policies, the Employee Handbook, and the Safety Management Program. Perform additional duties as assigned to support the Slopes department.
You Have
Previous heavy equipment operating experience (required). Previous supervisory experience (required). Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Previous experience in a similar role is considered an asset. The physical ability to lift heavy loads and perform extended periods of physical work. A passion for working outdoors and contributing to a high-performing mountain operations team.
Compensation And Benefits
Competitive wage: $25.00-$30.00/hour, dependent on experience, plus gratuities
