Canada Pump & Power is looking for a driven and experienced Dewatering Supervisor to support our growing pumping and de-watering operations.
This role is a blend of field leadership, office coordination, estimating, customer support, and business development. The right person will be confident working in the field with crews, communicating with customers, supporting bids and estimates, and helping Canada Pump & Power continue to build strong relationships with new and existing clients.

The successful candidate will have:
- Experience in de-watering, pumping, construction, industrial field operations, ora relatedenvironment.
- Previoussupervisory or field leadership experience.
- Strong understanding of pumping systems, equipment requirements, job planning, and field execution.
- Ability to review scopes of work and contribute toaccuratebids, estimates, and project plans.
- Strong customer service and relationship-building skills.
- Ability toidentifypotential business opportunities and help attract new clients to CPP.
- Strong communicationskills with customers, contractors, managers, safety personnel, HR, and field employees.
- Ability to coordinate crews, equipment, schedules, and job priorities.
- Strong understanding of safety documentation, permits, hazard assessments, and site requirements.
- Ability to read, write, and understand English.
- A valid Class 5 driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
What You’ll Be Doing
As the Dewatering Supervisor, you will support both field execution and office-based planning. Your responsibilities will include:
- Supervising and coordinating daily de-watering, pumping, and field operations.
- Supporting crews in the field to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to customer expectations.
- Reviewing scopes of work and helpingdeterminelabour, equipment, materials, and site requirements.
- Assistingwith bids, estimates, and project planning to ensure CPP is bidding on work that aligns with our capabilities and operational scope.
- Helpingidentifynew business opportunities and potential clients for CPP’s pumping and de-watering services.
- Building andmaintainingstrong relationships with customers, contractors, supervisors, and field personnel.
- RepresentingCPP professionally during site visits, customer meetings, planning discussions, and project execution.
- Attending pre-job planning meetings and visually inspecting work areas before work begins.
- Coordinatingmanpower, schedules, equipment, materials, and other required resources.
- Working with maintenance personnel to ensure equipment is serviced, repaired, and ready for use.
- Ensuring employees follow CPP processes, Safe Work Practices, Safe Work Procedures, and site-specific requirements.
- Completing and reviewing required field documentation, including FLRAs, JHAs, daily reports, logbooks, pre-use inspections, toolbox talks, and tailgate meeting records.
- Submitting and obtaining general Safe Work Permits, including hot and cold work permits.
- Conducting worksite inspections and ensuring corrective actions are completed.
- Reporting and supporting the correction of hazards, incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions.
- Participating in incident investigations with the Safety Department whenrequired.
- Supportingemployee training, competency development, mentorship, and performance feedback.
- Communicating field-level concerns, ideas, and opportunities to management.
- Experience supervising crews in industrial, mining, oil & gas, or heavy civil environments
- Ability to work rotational schedules and remote project locations
Assets (Highly Valued)
- Dredging operations experience
- Marine or floating pump systems experience
- Oil sands or northern remote work experience
- Confined space, ground disturbance, or environmental compliance exposure
