We’re seeking an experienced Residential New Construction Plumber to join our growing team. The ideal candidate has strong rough-in and finishing skills, understands blueprint interpretation, and can work independently while maintaining high-quality standards. This role works closely with site supervisors, builders, and team leads to ensure projects stay on schedule and exceed expectations.
Responsibilities Complete rough-in plumbing for new residential builds Install water distribution, drain, waste, and vent systems Set fixtures, tubs, shower valves, and finishing trim Read and interpret blueprints and site plans Troubleshoot and resolve plumbing-related issues on-site Ensure work meets Alberta building codes and safety requirements Coordinate with site leads, builders, and project managers Maintain a clean and organized worksite Qualifications Journeyman Plumber (preferred) or Registered Apprentice (3rd or 4th year) Experience in residential new construction plumbing Strong understanding of Alberta Plumbing Code Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision Valid driver’s license & reliable transportation Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical work in varying conditions Why Work With Knight Competitive wages (based on experience) Company benefits package Consistent year-round work Positive and supportive team culture Opportunities for advancement Well-organized job sites and strong builder relationships This position is currently vacant and is being posted to fill an existing opening.
