Fully trained in the operations and capability of a front end wheel loader. Assist the Foreman with the daily operations and upkeep of the yard. Assist with a variety of job operations. Responsible for completing the daily equipment checklist. Operate and perform routine maintenance on their loader including, includes washing and cleaning the operator’s cab inside and out, greasing, refueling, changing oil and filters, and maintaining all fluid levels Responsible for updating and maintaining all equipment service records for any piece of equipment operated, keeping accurate and thorough records of the maintenance performed, the hours on the unit, date, time, etc.; complete proof of regular service may be required Winter tasks would include operating sidewalk clearing equipment after Winter Storm Events. Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOREducation: High school diploma or equivalent Required Work Experience: Min 2 years of experience operating a loaderRequired Training/Certifications: Valid Class 5 Drivers License. Class 3 Drivers License with Air Brakes preferred. Additional Requirements:
Able to lift 55 lbs Able to work in a fast paced, high production environment Willing to work overtime and shifts when needed during Winter Storm Events. Able to work unsupervised Able to work well with others Good communication skills Mechanically inclined Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
