Our client, a Residential Construction Firm, based out of Edmonton, AB is looking for a Construction Estimator!

Responsibilities Prepare accurate, detailed estimates for residential renovation projects of varying size and complexity Review drawings, specifications, and scopes to fully understand project requirements Perform quantity takeoffs and build complete cost breakdowns (labour, materials, trades) Solicit and analyze subcontractor and supplier pricing Work closely with design, project management, and leadership to align scope, budgets, and expectations Identify gaps, risks, and cost pressures early before they impact the project Contribute to project planning to ensure jobs are set up properly before they reach the field Support continuous improvement in estimating processes, tools, and accuracy Qualifications 5-10 years experience working in Residential Renovations (ideal), Residential construction, or Commercial renovations Passionate about what they do with a focus on quality. Team player, willing to jump in and support their peers Excellent communication skills both written and verbal, able to professionally converse with clients and explain the process Minimum 5 years experience in Canada, needs to be aware of costing in Canada
