Key Responsibilities
Install Lely robotic automatic milking systems on dairy farms throughout our serving area. Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, electronic, and software-related issues Complete on-farm facility installations, upgrades, and equipment integrations Participate in required technical training to stay current with advancing technologies Work collaboratively with Avonbank team members and dairy producers to ensure proper setup, performance, and optimization of equipment Deliver high-quality service in a fast-paced, hands-on farm environment
Qualifications
Strong understanding of electronics, PLCs, diagnostics, and troubleshooting Experience with mechanical systems, electronic controls, or automation is an asset Self-motivated, dependable, and able to work both independently and as part of a team Excellent organizational and time-management skills Genuine interest in agriculture, dairy farming, robotics, or technical fieldwork Mechanical or ag-tech experience is an advantage, but we will fully train the right candidate
Compensation & Benefits
Pay: $52,000–$63,000 per year (based on experience and qualifications) Overtime opportunities when required Full benefits package, including RRSP matching up to 5% Company phone, laptop, and Transportation to job sites provided Boot/clothing allowance Tool allowance Strong long-term growth and development opportunities
