Plant Operator IV — Montney Operations (14/14 Rotation)

Schedule: 14 days on / 14 days off Hours: 12‑hour shifts Travel: Fly‑in or drive‑in; flights reimbursed at cost Certification: Minimum 4th Class Power Engineering

Role Overview

The Plant Operator is a senior operations role responsible for safely monitoring, controlling, and optimizing a Montney processing facility. This position requires strong technical depth, sound judgment, and the ability to operate complex equipment from both the field and the control room.

Key Responsibilities Control Room Operations — Monitor and operate plant systems through the control room, ensuring safe and stable production. Equipment Surveillance — Track operating equipment, critical parameters, and maintain accurate logs. Maintenance Preparation — Prepare equipment for maintenance, perform routine inspections, and support preventative maintenance programs. Operational Troubleshooting — Identify issues, recommend solutions, and support continuous improvement initiatives. HSE Compliance — Work in full alignment with site safety standards, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Required Experience & Qualifications 7+ years senior plant operations experience in gas processing, CPF operations, or similar hydrocarbon facilities. 4th Class Power Engineering (minimum). Demonstrated ability to operate complex processing systems and equipment. Strong understanding of process safety, isolation procedures, and permit systems. Experience coordinating work with maintenance, contractors, and other operations personnel. Recognized as a technical specialist capable of solving complex operational problems. Ability to act as a lead operator within the shift team (non‑supervisory).

Work Environment 14/14 rotation with 12‑hour shifts. Fly‑in or drive‑in; all flights reimbursed at cost. Camp‑based accommodation provided during shift.
