About the role

Vinetra Talent is currently partnering with an early-stage AI SalesTech startup that is fundamentally changing how enterprise revenue teams accelerate their outbound pipelines.

And the engineering success is determined entirely by working, deployed products that drive real customer value, rather than complex code that goes unused. The engineering team is looking for their 8th engineer to join the team, a highly capable standalone owner who can absorb heavy architectural burdens and scale a product from the ground up.

The Role An engineer who sits at the intersection of heavy backend systems, applied AI, and end-to-end product delivery. You will be responsible for building the invisible execution tracks for the autonomous AI decision-making engines while ensuring the data layer is clean, fast, and cost-optimized.

Core Responsibilities

Backend Infrastructure: Build and maintain high-throughput pipelines, handle distributed systems, and manage asynchronous task scheduling using Python and AWS.

Applied AI Engineering: Move past basic prompt engineering to design robust multi-agent execution frameworks, manage persistent state-memory networks, and aggressively optimize token compute costs.

End-to-End Ownership: Step out of a strict backend sandbox to drive product outcomes. You will write the necessary APIs and basic UI connections, leveraging AI assistants to spin up screens quickly, to push features across the finish line independently.

Requirements

Product-Mindedness: You evaluate technical choices through customer usage and business metrics, choosing simple, highly practical solutions over architectural vanity.

Radical Production Ownership: You have the startup grit and accountability to ship fast, monitor live systems, and personally debug distributed production anomalies under early-stage constraints.

Startup Execution Muscle: You possess the muscle to execute fast and light without the large org multi person support system, having personally taken features to production and lived with your decisions.

Great to have: Deep, practical familiarity with the Sales tech domain experience, enterprise CRM data synchronization layers, or a proven track record of building tools specifically for sales and revenue teams.
