About the role

Integrity Geomatics Inc. is a growing geomatics company providing construction layout, as-built surveying, deformation monitoring, laser scanning, and geomatics support for infrastructure projects throughout British Columbia and Alberta.

We are seeking an experienced Geomatics Professional who can work independently on demanding construction projects with minimal supervision. This role requires someone who is accurate, dependable, safety-conscious, and confident making decisions in the field.

Required Qualifications 5+ years of construction surveying experience (preferred) Diploma or Degree in Geomatics Engineering Technology, Surveying, or a related field is an asset Proficient with Trimble Access, including job setup, stakeout, traversing, and data management Strong working knowledge of GNSS, robotic total stations, and conventional survey methods Ability to establish, adjust, and verify control networks Experience performing construction layout for utilities, pipelines, civil works, bridges, or structural concrete Ability to perform field calculations, quality checks, and identify errors before they affect construction Experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings, IFC plans, alignment sheets, profiles, and coordinate tables Comfortable working with coordinate systems, site calibrations, and survey control Experience producing accurate as-built surveys and maintaining complete field documentation Familiarity with survey tolerances and construction quality control procedures Ability to troubleshoot equipment, field procedures, and layout discrepancies independently Experience working safely around heavy equipment and active construction sites Valid Class 5 driver's licence with a clean driving record Physically capable of working outdoors in all weather conditions and walking long distances over rough terrain Willing and able to work 8–12 hour shifts, overtime, weekends, and travel when required Preferred Qualifications Experience with Trimble Business Center (TBC) and Civil3D Experience with machine control systems Experience with monitoring surveys and deformation analysis CSTS, WHMIS, H2S Alive, and First Aid certifications Experience mentoring junior surveyors Previous experience on major infrastructure, pipeline, tunnelling, or industrial construction projects What We Offer Competitive compensation based on experience Overtime opportunities Company vehicle or contractor arrangement with truck allowance (where applicable) Modern Trimble survey equipment and technology Opportunity to work on some of Western Canada's largest infrastructure projects Career advancement within a rapidly growing company If you are a professional surveyor who takes ownership of your work, consistently delivers accurate results, and thrives in a fast-paced construction environment, we'd like to hear from you.
