We are looking for a skilled and motivated Senior Mechanical Assembly Technician to join our factory team in Canada.

🔧 Role Overview: The ideal candidate will be responsible for executing the assembly of systems and projects according to design drawings and the assembly strategy defined by the Team Leader. This includes managing project execution, coordinating with internal teams, ensuring quality standards, and delivering projects on time with minimal snags.

🎯 Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute assembly projects based on drawings, layouts, and deadlines
  • Plan and follow assembly schedules in coordination with the Team Leader
  • Coordinate with manufacturing and stock to ensure material availability
  • Lead a small team to deliver projects on time with minimal snags
  • Interpret technical drawings and ensure accurate mechanical assembly
  • Identify and report design or drawing issues with solutions
  • Ensure all work meets quality standards with zero non-conformities
  • Follow all safety rules and project risk assessments
  • Maintain an organized and safe working environment (5S)
  • Collaborate effectively with all departments and support team members

🎓 Education Required

  • Diploma in Mechanical Engineering Technology, Mechanical Technician/Technologist, Industrial Mechanics (Millwright), or related technical field.
  • Mechatronics or Electro-Mechanical Technology is an asset
  • Equivalent hands-on experience may be considered in place of formal education

🛠️ Experience Required

  • 3–5 years in mechanical assembly, manufacturing, or industrial equipment assembly.
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and layouts.
  • Experience in a factory or production environment.
  • Team coordination or small team leadership is an asset.
  • Exposure to industrial machinery or automation systems is preferred.
