PepsiCo Beverages Canada - Full-Time Millwright Compensation: This is a full-time position that requires open availability Night Shift. $45.70 per hour with full-time hours and overtime opportunities Shift: (Sunday to Thursday) Night shift premium - $1.65 per hour Health and Dental Benefits, Pension and Match RSP
Responsibilities
The Role: The Maintenance Millwright is responsible for maintaining and repairing plant equipment and mechanical systems within the Pepsi bottling and processing facility. This role involves inspecting equipment for proper operation and performing mechanical preventive maintenance in accordance with manufacturer specifications. The successful candidate will support day‑to‑day electrical and mechanical maintenance activities, including preventive maintenance, repairs, changeovers, and installations on advanced manufacturing and production equipment. Responsibilities also include troubleshooting and diagnosing equipment malfunctions, performing complex repairs or adjustments, and providing mentorship and support to less‑experienced technicians as needed. Qualifications
Must hold an Industrial Millwright ticket with Red Seal. Please specify if you hold these certifications in your resume. All resumes that do not state the qualifications mentioned will not be contacted. Qualifications: Certified Industrial Millwright ticket with Red Seal. Pass technical assessment addressing job-critical maintenance knowledge areas. Experience with basic mechanical systems (e.g., chains, belts, sprockets, bearings, installation, tensioning...) Experience with electronics (e.g., level probes, flowmeters, drives/VFDs, etc.). Experience with product manuals (e.g., reading and applying knowledge to make repairs). Must be skilled in the use of machine shop equipment (lathe, mill, grinder, etc.) Experience with machine troubleshooting (e.g., diagnostics, problem solving, etc.) Experience with PLC is a plus.
