The Role
If you are an experienced mechanical engineer who enjoys leading complex building projects and mentoring junior team members, our client has an exciting opportunity for you. This full-time hybrid role combines hands-on engineering with project leadership, giving you the chance to collaborate with teams across disciplines while driving mechanical system upgrades and sustainability initiatives.
What You’ll Do
Lead multiple mechanical projects, managing scope, budgets, deliverables, and regulatory approvals Conduct feasibility studies and assessments for mechanical systems Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to develop design and implementation solutions Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance and leadership
What You Bring
Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent with nine or more years of consulting experience Licensed Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) in Ontario; additional provincial licenses a plus Expertise in HVAC, plumbing, building controls, and life safety systems Knowledge of relevant codes and standards Strong project management, problem-solving, and communication skills Ability to manage multiple projects and work independently Willingness to travel within Ontario and other provinces Valid Class G driver’s license and access to a vehicle

Compensation Transparency
The expected compensation range for this role is $100,000 – $125,000 annually, depending on experience, skills, and qualifications.
Additional Compensation Elements May Include
