This role sits within a high-impact cybersecurity team responsible for strengthening the resilience of enterprise-scale Network, Cloud, and emerging AI environments. The role offers exposure to complex architectures including Active Directory, hybrid cloud systems, and large-scale enterprise networks. You will operate across the full security testing lifecycle—from scoping and execution to reporting and remediation guidance. This is a highly collaborative environment where your findings directly influence risk posture, regulatory alignment, and security engineering improvements. You’ll work closely with senior stakeholders and security leaders while continuously developing your expertise in offensive security. The role is best suited for professionals who enjoy solving difficult technical problems and driving meaningful security outcomes. \n

Accountabilities In this role, you will perform advanced penetration testing activities across network, cloud, and AI environments while supporting the broader security testing strategy: Execute manual penetration tests targeting Active Directory environments, cloud infrastructures, and network systems using real-world attack methodologies Identify, analyze, and document security vulnerabilities, including multi-step attack paths and exploitation scenarios Support end-to-end testing engagements, including scoping, execution, reporting, and remediation guidance Develop clear, reproducible technical reports and communicate findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders Provide subject matter expertise on secure design and development practices Collaborate with internal teams to assess risk, recommend corrective actions, and support vulnerability remediation Contribute to improving penetration testing methodologies, tools, and frameworks aligned with industry standards Requirements The ideal candidate brings strong technical expertise in offensive security, along with the ability to communicate findings effectively and work independently in complex environments: 3+ years of experience in manual penetration testing, particularly in network and cloud environments Strong hands-on experience with Active Directory exploitation and cloud security vulnerabilities in enterprise settings Solid understanding of network and cloud architectures, including hybrid and multi-tenant environments Proficiency with penetration testing tools and Linux-based distributions (e.g., Kali) Familiarity with MITRE ATT&CK framework and adversary simulation techniques Ability to write detailed, reproducible vulnerability reports and risk assessments Working knowledge of at least one scripting language (e.g., Python, Bash, or PowerShell) Relevant security certifications (e.g., OSCP, OSEP, or equivalent) considered a strong asset Experience with CI/CD pipeline or agentic AI security testing is an advantage Strong analytical thinking, communication skills, and ability to manage time-sensitive deliverables Bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity, computer science, IT, engineering, or equivalent experience Benefits Competitive salary range: $82,800 – $154,800 CAD, with potential for bonuses and variable compensation Comprehensive health, dental, life, and accident insurance coverage Retirement savings plans and financial wellbeing programs Tuition reimbursement and continuous professional training opportunities (including certifications) Remote-first work environment with flexibility and autonomy Exposure to high-impact, enterprise-scale security challenges Opportunities to work on advanced technologies, including cloud and AI security testing Strong focus on professional development, mentorship, and career growth
