- Hours: 10pm-7am and 7am-4 (Must be flexible for either shift or both)

What you’ll do
As a Maintenance Tech, you’ll be at the heart of operations—right on the floor where materials take shape.
Your day-to-day:
- Will perform regular scheduled preventative maintenance (PM Program) for all stationary equipment, mobile plant equipment and building components at both Plant 1 and Plant 2, as required.
- Will maintain all of the necessary records to support PM Program at Plant 1 and Plant 2.
- Will perform service and repair to all plant equipment as required. This may include stationary equipment, mobile plant equipment and building components at Plant 1 and 2, as required.
- To be involved in the modification and fabrication of equipment to fit new production requirements and assist in solving production issues.
- Assist 3rd party contractors with troubleshooting, repairs or overhauls with existing or new equipment installations as required.
- Complete all documentation related to the activities of the Department, including but not limited to preventative maintenance reports, service reports, inventory reports or request forms and daily activity reports.
- Experience in a manufacturing or related industry.
- Previous experience with equipment used in the recycling industry and related mobile equipment is a definite asset.
- Experience in carpentry work.
- Must be aware of all safety standards and requirements for maintenance work.
- Related technical school training.
- Training as a welder/fabricator would also be an asset.
