We're looking for a Release Engineer / Platform Engineer with strong expertise in Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) to support a large-scale enterprise infrastructure modernization initiative focused on migrating environments from RHEL7 to RHEL9.

Key Responsibilities ✅ Lead RHEL7 to RHEL9 migration and platform modernization initiatives ✅ Resolve package, binary compatibility, and library dependency issues ✅ Build and maintain RPM packages and open-source software from source ✅ Modernize container platforms by migrating from Docker to Podman ✅ Manage Kubernetes environments using Rancher ✅ Develop and maintain Jenkins CI/CD pipelines using Groovy ✅ Build automation tools and API integrations using Python ✅ Perform vulnerability remediation, security hardening, and CVE resolution ✅ Automate infrastructure using Ansible

Required Skills ✔ 5–7 years of Linux/Platform Engineering experience ✔ Strong hands-on experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), including RHEL9 ✔ Linux administration and troubleshooting expertise ✔ Python scripting/programming ✔ Jenkins CI/CD and Groovy scripting ✔ Docker, Podman, Kubernetes, and Rancher ✔ Make, CMake, and GCC build systems ✔ Ansible automation ✔ Security hardening and vulnerability remediation
