We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Senior Electronic Security Systems Technician with a minimum of 5 years of proven experience to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for service, installation and maintenance of electronic security systems, including CCTV, access control, intercom, intrusion detection, and fire alarm monitoring systems.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities of the Senior Security Technician · Respond to routine and emergency service calls on a variety of Electronic Security Systems and diagnose/repair issues promptly · Conduct preventative and routine maintenance as needed on existing security systems · Installation (including pre-wire, installing, configuring, programming, commissioning, testing and troubleshooting) of a variety of Electronic Security Systems including CCTV (IP and Analog), Card Access Systems, Intrusion and Fire Alarm Monitoring Systems, and Intercom Systems as per the scope of work. · Maintain accurate and detailed records of installations, service performed and inventory · Train new users in operation of Security Systems · Available to be on-call 24/7 on a rotational basis · Available to occasionally work on weekends, overnight, holidays and after 5pm
Qualifications · 5+ years of proven experience in Security System Service and Installation (including CCTV, Card Access Systems, Intrusion and Fire Alarm and Intercom) · Experience with Kantech, ICT, Avigilon IP Video and Access Control, Alarm.com,DSC, Uniview, Mircom & Akuvox · Networking and IP Knowledge · Data and voice networks and telephony experience is an asset · Clean driving record · Clean criminal background check
Preferred candidates will have (or must be willing to obtain) GOVERNMENT OF CANADA SECURITY CLEARANCE: Reliability Status and/or Secret Security Clearance.
Preferred Candidates will be Bilingual (English & French)
Preferred Candidates will possess ASP, BSP and CCQ certification to be able to work in Quebec.
