Position: Learning Experience Designer
Location: All offices
Employment Type: Full-time, temporary, up to 16 months.
Salary Grade: 213 From: $99,370.69
Your Impact
As a Learning Experience Designer, you’ll transform the way our people learn, grow, and lead change. You’ll collaborate with passionate colleagues, clients, and stakeholders to design and deliver engaging, innovative, and accessible learning experiences that empower our workforce. Your creativity, expertise, and drive will help shape the future of the WSIB.
What You’ll Do
- Partner with clients and subject matter experts to scope, plan, and design learner-centric solutions that drive business results.
- Apply design thinking and adult learning principles to create dynamic learning journeys, programs, and resources.
- Lead the creation of multi-modal learning—virtual, in-person, eLearning, podcasts, videos, games, mobile apps, and more.
- Use industry-leading tools (Articulate 360, Adobe Creative Suite, Camtasia, etc.) to bring learning to life.
- Champion accessibility, diversity, and inclusion in every learning experience.
- Evaluate and improve learning outcomes, ensuring solutions are impactful and measurable.
- Support implementation, facilitate train-the-trainer sessions, and troubleshoot learning technologies.
- Act as a change agent, inspiring continuous learning and innovation across the organization.
What You Bring
Education:
- University completion at undergraduate level with specialization in education, adult education or instructional design or university completion at undergraduate level with a diploma or certificate in workplace learning/adult education, instructional design, eLearning development, graphic design or user experience design
Experience:
- Five years prior experience in instructional design and/or learning experience design and/or learning development and/or design thinking and use of learning authoring tools and learning management systems to create in-person and digital learning products and experiences.
