About the role
Candoor Overhead Door Ltd is a overhead door service and installation company based out of Mississauga, Ontario (servicing GTA and the surrounding areas). We provide services in commercial, industrial and residental applications and we are seeking a new Junior Overhead Door Technician to join our team. We are seeking an individual that is reliable, energetic, has good customer service skills, works well in a team environment and is willing to learn a new skill (or expand on their existing skill level). Industry experience is not a must but it is preferred; pay to be reflective of experience. Key Responsibilities: Load and unload vehicles Maintain work trucks (re-stock truck and keep tools/parts organized) Going on service calls and installation jobs with lead technicians Assisting lead technicians on all job sites Learning skills from lead hand technicians and apply these skills on the field Responsible for shop maintenance and job site clean up Having the appropriate tools to be fit for duty Skills and Qualifications: Ability to work at heights is a must Mechanically inclined Excellent customer service abilities Ability to read, write and communicate in English G class Ontario license is a must Industry experience is not a must but overhead door, construction or other trade experience is an asset Working at heights certifications, WHMIS, equipment operation certifications is an asset Benefits of working at Candoor: Endless support from the management team Ability to grow within the company Health Benefits Paid overtime Training and safety certifications Uniforms At Candoor overhead doors we offer a healthy hourly wage, health benefits, a friendly work environment and a strong company culture.
