As the Assistant Site Supervisor in the community of Morris Village in Rockland, you will be responsible for assisting the Site Supervisor to ensure Cardel homes are built on time with minimal deficiencies and customers receive exceptional service while ensuring site conditions and signage are well maintained.

Responsibilities
- Assist the Site Supervisor in the scheduling and supervising subcontractors and suppliers
- Maintaining master construction schedule and ensuring timelines are met
- Assist the Site Supervisor with regular communication with internal staff
- Assist the Site Supervisor with conducting regular inspections and ensuring quality control
- Overseeing overall site for cleanliness and safety
- Liaising with homeowners and attending walk-thru meetings
- Assist the Site Supervisor with managing site costs and material efficiency
- Addressing pre-occupancy & post possession homeowner concerns
- Conducting visual inspections of warranty issues
- Performing ‘hands-on’ repairs
- Scheduling additional services with sub-trades
Qualifications
- Degree/diploma in Construction Technology/Management
- 2+ years of experience in residential construction or renovations
- Knowledge of the Ontario Building Codes
- Knowledge of Tarion Warranty and Ontario New Home Warranties Plan Act
- Construction knowledge – building technologies, processes, and building materials
- Self-starter with a high degree of initiative, creativity, and flexibility
- Possess strong customer service and communications skills
- Effective problem-solving, decision-making, and conflict management skills
This is a physically demanding position which will require you to work both indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions.
