This position is for an existing vacancy We do not use AI to screen, assess, or select applicants Job Overview We are looking for a DevOps Engineer with 5+ years of experience to support and improve our build, release, and deployment processes. This role focuses on CI/CD automation, Jenkins, artifact repositories, scripting, and reliable software delivery. In this role, you will partner with engineering, QA, release, and operations teams to maintain dependable tooling, troubleshoot delivery issues, and improve automation across the software delivery lifecycle. Duties & Responsibilities Maintain and improve Jenkins jobs and CI/CD pipelines for build, test, release, and deployment workflows. Support artifact repositories, including publishing, versioning, retention, access control, and troubleshooting. Develop automation scripts and tooling, with a focus on Perl and other scripting languages as needed. Troubleshoot build, dependency, environment, and deployment issues with development teams. Improve release reliability, repeatability, documentation, and operational standards. Promote secure, auditable, and collaborative software delivery practices. 5+ years of professional experience in DevOps, build engineering, release engineering, platform engineering, systems engineering, or a similar role. Hands-on experience with Jenkins or comparable CI/CD tooling. Experience with artifact repositories such as Nexus Repository, Artifactory, or similar platforms. Working knowledge of build tools such as Ant and Maven. Strong scripting and automation skills, preferably with Perl. Solid understanding of source control workflows, including GitHub, SVN, branching, pull requests, and code reviews. Strong Linux or Unix experience and troubleshooting skills. Clear communication, ownership, attention to detail, and ability to work across teams. Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting enterprise build and release environments. Experience with Java build workflows using Ant, Maven, or similar tools. Familiarity with containers or orchestration platforms such as Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, AKS, ECS, or GKE. Experience with monitoring, logging, alerting, or operational dashboards. Understanding of secure software delivery and audit requirements.
