About the role
Our client is a leading contractor specializing in excavation, earthworks, demolition, underground services, site development, foundations, structural and flat concrete, shoring, and related civil and ICI construction services.
As the company continues to expand throughout the Ottawa region, they are seeking ambitious Estimators and Senior Estimators to join their growing pre-construction team.
Working alongside operational leaders, the team prepares competitive tenders across a diverse portfolio of projects, ranging from infrastructure to private developments and commercial/industrial facilities.
Key Responsibilities Preparation of complete estimates and tender submissions Detailed quantity take-offs and pricing analysis Developing construction methodologies and bid strategies Coordinating supplier and subcontractor pricing activities Identifying project risks, opportunities, and value-engineering alternatives Ensuring successful project transitions to operations Seniors to mentor and grow junior staff
Qualifications The firm is seeking experienced senior pre-construction leaders and is also open to ambitious early-career estimators. Civil experience in pricing Division 2 work for infrastructure projects will be strongly preferred.
