Role Description This is an equity compensation a founding Senior Electric Power Systems & Electrical Engineer involves supporting the design, analysis, and optimization of utility-scale battery energy storage and EV charging infrastructure.
Day-to-day responsibilities include designing and integrating medium and high voltage BOS, BESS, EVSE, BOP and participating in the continuous improvement of Karh’s modular power station architectures.
Qualifications
Strong skills in electrical engineering, particularly large-scale renewables, battery energy storage, and charge station system. Experience in power system engineering design (e.g., SIMULINK, AutoCAD Electrical, Fusion 360, PSSE, PSCAD, ETAP, or similar). Deep knowledge of grid interconnection standards, relevant codes and regulations. Excellent ability to draw one-line diagrams, 3D renderings of electrical systems, wiring schematics, technical specifications. Expertise with engineering software and general tools such as MATLAB, or similar for simulations and data analysis. Initiative-taking, deeply collaborative, high performance, with outstanding communication skills, with the ability to deduce, analyse and present technical knowhow clearly. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with attention to detail. Currently pursuing or having completed an advanced degree (Master’s or PhD preferred) in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field. Interest in renewable energy, grid modernization, and large-scale electrification; prior experience with battery energy storage or EV infrastructure is a plus. Ability to work collaboratively in a remote environment and manage time across multiple tasks.
