About the role
Education: College/CEGEP. Work site environment: Organic farming. Outdoors. All weather conditions. Tasks: Clear and collect brush and debris from fields, pens and other work areas. Train trees to produce more fruit of higher quality. Write daily basic progress reports. Clean work area. Harvest crops. Load, unload and transfer crates, supplies and farm produce, livestock and poultry. Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment. Detect disease and health problems in crops, livestock and poultry. Examine product for quality and its readiness for the market. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : First Aid Certificate. Equipment and machinery experience: Loader. Tractor. Hand tools. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Ability to work independently. Repetitive tasks. Handling heavy loads. Physically demanding. Manual dexterity. Ability to distinguish between colours.
