About the role
Position: Junior Electronic Engineer (Qucs-S)
Type: Contract
Compensation: $50 - $120/hour
Location: Remote
Commitment: 10-40 hrs/week
Role Responsibilities
Design, simulate, and validate electronic circuits and systems using Qucs-S. Develop detailed technical documentation and present findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate project requirements into robust electronic solutions. Optimize circuit designs for performance, reliability, and manufacturability. Troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve issues arising during simulation or prototyping phases. Stay current with Qucs-S updates, integrating the latest features and best practices into projects. Mentor team members on Qucs-S best practices and advanced simulation techniques.
Requirements
Proven expertise with Qucs-S for electronic circuit simulation and analysis. Bachelor s or Master s degree in Electronic Engineering or a related field. Demonstrated experience in electronic circuit design, testing, and optimization. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with attention to clarity and detail. Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to technical challenges. Ability to work independently in a remote setting and collaborate effectively with distributed teams. Experience creating comprehensive technical documentation.
