You will have the chance to work on exciting and engaging water and wastewater infrastructure and conveyance projects for our Municipal Clients, where you will utilize your expertise to collaborate with our teams in a safe and efficient delivery – from start to finish.
As a Conveyance Contract Administrator, you will work as an Owner's representative in the field, on various types of infrastructure and conveyance projects, leading other members of the site inspection and support team. You will coordinate and communicate with all stakeholders on a project, including: client project manager, municipalities, design team, and third parties: regulatory bodies, municipal and federal agencies, testing agencies and laboratories, as well as contractors. You will ensure construction is in accordance with contract drawings and specifications; manage records of construction activities; prepare reports; keep logs; prepare change orders and payment certificates, keep photo records, etc. You will coordinate and facilitate with engineering design team review of shop drawing; requests for information, site instructions and assist in resolving design/construction issues in thefield. You will evaluate, select, and apply company's and client's standards for construction inspections and administration. If you're up for the challenge, we've been looking for someone just like you. Here's what you'll need

A current licence in good standing with a public body within the province of Ontario, such as Professional Engineers of Ontario (P.Eng.) (preferred) or The Ontario Association of Certified Engineering Technicians and Technologists - Certified Engineering Technologist (C.E.T.)

University degree in engineering, engineering technology diploma, or equivalent demonstrated experience.

Minimum 10 years of experience in construction administration for linear conveyance or heavy civil infrastructure projects.

Proven experience working on municipal infrastructure projects.

Experience on high capital value construction projects or programs is preferred.

Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work effectively with clients and contractors.

Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions throughout all seasons.

Experience working in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) is strongly preferred.
Ideally you'll also have:

Experience in heavy civil and municipal infrastructure construction.

Prior experience with tunneling projects is an asset.

Prior experience with rehabilitation projects is an asset.

Demonstrated success delivering construction projects on time and within budget.

Proven ability to lead, direct, and/or supervise project teams.

Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to anticipate and resolve construction issues.

Sound judgment and attention to detail, with a strong understanding of project controls and their impact on schedule and cost.

Thorough knowledge of construction practices, contract drawings, specifications, and regulatory requirements.

Strong administrative skills and understanding of project policies and procedures.

Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle for travel to project sites.

Ability to work at heights, as required.

Posted Salary Range: Minimum
96,000.00
Posted Salary Range: Upper
130,000.00
The base salary range for this position is $96,000.00 to $130,000.00. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across Ontario, Canada locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
