The work location is in Nunavik and the normal work schedule is 11 hours per day on a rotation of 6 weeks: 3 weeks worked (77 hours per week, 7 days a week) followed by 3 weeks for rest.

Rsponsabilities
Under the supervision of the Utilities Supervisor, the plumber performs the following tasks while adhering to applicable safety standards :
- Install, repair, replace, modify, and maintain piping systems for the distribution and disposal of wastewater from the camp and self-contained satellite buildings;
- Install, repair, replace, modify, and maintain various plumbing and piping systems for the mine's industrial buildings;
- Maintain glycol systems;
- Knowledge of the installations of petroleum piping systems, emergency shower systems, air compressor systems, and fire suppression systems;
- Bend, cut, ream, and thread pipes; • Read and interpret plumbing/piping plans;
- Comply with industry standards;
- Perform all other related tasks.
Qualifications
- Possess a Diploma of Vocational Studies (DEP) in plumbing and heating, be a journeyman, and have at least 8 years of experience in the field;
- Thorough knowledge of the National Plumbing Code of Canada, including Quebec amendments, is considered an asset;
- Knowledge of heating systems and mechanical rooms;
- Hold a valid certificate of competency and driver's license;
- Ability to lift 20 kg;
- Enjoy working outdoors.
