Position Overview:

We’re currently hiring dependable and hardworking Material Handlers/Crane Operators to support our busy recycling facility. If you're hands-on, enjoy staying active, and want a role where your contributions really matter, this could be the perfect fit.

The wage range for this position is $27.00-$32.00/hour depending on experience

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate excavator based material handlers with a free swinging grapple safely and efficiently.
• Sort, process and load up ferrous and non-ferrous materials into balers/trucks and bays.
• Prioritize safety and follow all on-site protocols and procedures
• Perform daily equipment checks and report maintenance issues promptly
• Work closely with crew members to keep projects on track
• Adapt to and keep pace with ever changing

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience on heavy equipment is required
• Experience operating a Crane/Material Handler equipment is required
• A safety-first mindset and solid mechanical awareness
• Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Basic understanding of ferrous and non-ferrous metals
• Reliable transportation to our yard (not accessible by public transit)
