Description JOB SUMMARY:Reporting to the Regional Director, the Technical Writer supports Vancouver Coastal Health (VCH) in meeting and sustaining compliance with external assurance and accreditation programs, including Accreditation Canada and other regulatory or certification bodies.Working and partnering with organizational, clinical and quality leadership, this role is responsible for the development, coordination, and standardization of documentation required across the organization’s quality assurance programs. The Technical Writer ensures that evidence, procedures, and supporting materials are clear, accurate, and aligned with external standards, while supporting a shift toward continuous quality improvement and ongoing readiness for accreditation activities.This work is framed within VCH’s commitments to our pillars of Indigenous Cultural Safety, Anti-Racism, Equity, Diversity and Inclusion, and Planetary Health.QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences, Communications, Public Administration, or a related field, supplemented with five or more years of experience in technical writing, preferably in healthcare, quality, or regulatory environments or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience. Experience supporting accreditation, certification, or regulatory compliance initiatives (e.g., Accreditation Canada) is preferred.
