Keep reading. ln this position the student will be involved in supporting the assembly and production teams. Reporting to the Shop Supervisor, while providing assistance to the machine builders, shippers, and electricians. The student will also have some exposure to equipment detail design, by participating in a engineering design project before the end of the summer. Depending on project timing there may be an opportunity to participate in the assembly and start up custom design machines. Job qualifications: Student enrolled in post-secondary school in Process Automation Technology or relevant program. Completion of at least one prior work term in an automation equipment manufacturing setting. Excellent verbal and written skills are essential. Ability to work day shift for summer. Ability to stand for long periods of time. Comfortable working in a production floor environment. What’s in it for you?
