About the Position

  • We are searching for a permanent Senior Analyst, HR Technology & Analytics to join our Human Resources team.

  • PBC’s compensation program is built on a pay-for-performance philosophy, rewarding both individual and organizational achievements. The typical hiring range for this position is $100,000 - $120,000 per year, with the starting salary determined based on a combination of skills, education, experience, and internal equity. As part of our total rewards package, you’ll be eligible for our annual bonus program.

Key Ways This Position Makes An Impact

The Senior Analyst, HR Technology & Analytics works at the intersection of HR systems architecture, HCM and payroll execution, and requires a strong understanding of how upstream HR transactions flow through payroll processing, integrations, controls, and compliance in a complex environment.

In this role you’ll serve as a strategic and hands-on systems partner across Core HCM, Security Administration, Recruitment, Absence, Benefits, Payroll & Time Tracking.

This role acts as a trusted advisor and center of our Workday ecosystem, ensuring accuracy, data integrity and scalable system design across the employee lifecycle.

You will lead end‑to‑end Workday system implementations as they arise, including new module deployments and major enhancements for Recruitment and Advanced Compensation, from requirements definition through configuration, testing, and go‑live support.

In this role, you’ll develop advanced reporting and interactive dashboards, incorporating calculated fields and complex data flows to provide stakeholders with real time visibility and audit focused workforce insights.

You will develop bargaining related report requests inclusive of time and attendance, payroll, disability, absenteeism, etc.

The senior analyst will maintain a deep expertise in Workday Core HCM, Recruitment, Absence, Benefits, Payroll, business process framework, and security model.

In this role, you’ll evaluate security configurations and their impact on data visibility, integrity, and reporting access while ensuring data governance and compliance controls across sensitive fields.

As senior analyst, the role evaluates and maintains complex security configurations and leads regular system audits to ensure rigorous data governance while optimizing workday and reducing manual interventions through improved upstream controls and automation.

This role leads or supports evaluation and implementation of Workday releases impacting Payroll, Absence, and Time Tracking (PATT).

Key Experiences You Bring To This Role

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Human Resources, Management Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Workday certifications in HCM, Security Administration, Payroll, Reporting, Talent, or related modules.

  • 5 or more years of advanced Workday experience in a techno‑functional role, including system configuration and functional design.

  • Strong experience with Workday Core HCM, Recruitment, Time & Attendance, Absence, Benefits, and Payroll (an asset).

  • Experience supporting Workday releases, system enhancements, and optimization initiatives.

  • Solid understanding of data flows, integrations, Business Process Framework, and cross‑module dependencies.

  • Proven ability to lead Workday module implementation.

  • Experience managing, querying, and analyzing data using tools such as SQL, Python, R, Tableau, PowerBI, or similar.

  • Experience in working with both union and non-unionized environment.
