Industrial Equipment Assembly</strong><br><strong>Location:</strong> Woodstock, ON (Manufacturing Environment)<br><strong>Industry:</strong> Heavy Equipment Manufacturing / Industrial Systems</p> <p><strong>About the Role</strong></p> <p>We are seeking a Licensed Electrician to support the assembly, wiring, and commissioning of complex heavy industrial equipment. This role is hands-on and shop-floor based, involving electrical installation, troubleshooting, and integration of electrical systems within large-scale machinery.</p> <p>The ideal candidate has strong industrial electrical experience, machine build exposure, and is comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with both electrical and mechanical integration tasks.</p> <p><strong>Job Description / Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul><li>Perform electrical assembly on heavy industrial equipment including panel wiring, conduit installation, and system integration</li><li>Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, wire lists, and color codes</li><li>Install and size conduit, seal-tight, cab-tire, and technical cabling on equipment</li><li>Perform power wiring (110?750VAC, single and three phase) and low-voltage DC wiring (0?24V)</li><li>Support equipment commissioning, startup, and troubleshooting activities</li><li>Inspect and verify electrical work completed by assembly teams for quality and compliance</li><li>Assist with mechanical and hydraulic assembly where required</li><li>Perform shop and equipment maintenance as needed</li><li>Ensure compliance with electrical codes (CEC, NEC) and internal safety standards</li><li>Conduct quality checks throughout the assembly and build process</li><li>Work closely with engineering and production teams to resolve build and wiring issues</li></ul> <p><strong>Qualifications / Requirements</strong></p> <ul><li>Licensed Electrician (Industrial 442A or Construction & Maintenance 309A) required</li><li>Experience in industrial machine building or heavy equipment manufacturing</li><li>Strong ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics</li><li>Hands-on experience with electrical measurement tools (multimeters, calibrators, etc.)</li><li>Knowledge of conduit sizing and industrial wiring practices</li><li>Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to work in cross-functional assembly environments</li><li>Comfortable working rotating shifts and overtime</li></ul> <p><strong>Job Type:</strong> Full-Time | Permanent | Rotating Shifts</p> <p><strong>Salary Wage</strong>: $40-$41/hr</p> <p>If this aligns with your background, apply directly to learn more about the opportunity.</p>
