Heavy Equipment / Truck Mechanic – FIFO 14/14 | Fort McMurray Looking for a better work-life balance, look no further! Red Seal or Journeyman Levitt‑Safety is hiring Heavy Equipment, Truck & Transport, and Automotive Journeyman mechanics for a 14/14 FIFO rotation in Fort McMurray. This role focuses on mobile HVAC systems on heavy equipment - cleaner work, strong pay, and real-time at home. Why this might work for you? Work half the year on a 14/14 rotation FIFO with flights & housing covered Industrial environment without constant breakdown chaos Skills transfer easily from heavy equipment & trucks Long‑term stability (not shutdown‑only work) What You’ll Work On Mobile HVAC systems on: Haul trucks Dozers Loaders Industrial off‑road equipment Climate‑control diagnostics & repairs Preventative maintenance Optional cross‑training on fire suppression systems What You Need Journeyman or Red Seal in: Heavy Equipment Truck & Transport Automotive Service Comfort working independently in the field Safety‑first mindset Industrial or mining experience preferred Fire equipment experience is an asset but if you don't have it, we’ll train the right technician.
