About the role

At Leesta, recently acquired by Pursuit Aerospace, we manufacture precision aerospace components for some of the world's leading aircraft engine and aerospace manufacturers.

We are currently seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist, to join our team and help ensure our processes and products meet customer and industry requirements. This is a great opportunity for an intermediate-level professional who enjoys technical work, collaborating with others, and contributing to a high-performing team.

Responsibilities Support Material Review Board (MRB) activities: prepare documentation, track actions, and ensure decisions are recorded and implemented; Manage non-conformity reports (NCRs) and assist with follow-up actions involving internal teams and suppliers; Participate in Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) activities, ensuring accurate documentation and reporting, including Key Piece Characteristics (KPCs); Support First Article Inspections (FAI) and assist in preparing quality concessions; Assist with internal and supplier audits to help ensure compliance with standards and processes; Maintain up-to-date quality records and documentation that meet customer and regulatory expectations; Contribute to quality improvement activities as part of your regular responsibilities.

Job qualifications 3 to 5 years of experience in aerospace quality assurance — intermediate level, comfortable working independently on assigned tasks; Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, industrial, or manufacturing engineering (or equivalent technical discipline). A technical diploma with extensive relevant experience may also be considered; Understanding of metalwork manufacturing processes and ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications; Proficient in applying AS9100 / ISO 9001 standards, handling PPAPs, and using customer portals; Strong problem-solving skills, team player, and effective communicator who collaborates well with cross-functional teams and suppliers; Comfortable with Microsoft Office and ERP systems (Power BI is an asset); Bilingual (French/English)
