Role Description:

• Automation Framework Architecture: Design, implement, and maintain scalable, maintainable test automation solutions for API endpoints and database interactions using Automation Framework (Selenium) and programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, TypeScript).
• API Test Development: Develop, execute, and maintain automated test suites for APIs using specialized tools like Postman, Rest integrated with Selenium, or Playwrights built-in API testing capabilities.
• AI Skills: Good knowledge on automation using GITHUB COPILOT.
• Leadership and Strategy: Lead consulting projects, define testing requirements, establish best practices, and provide strategic guidance on testing strategies and quality assurance processes.
• Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers and project managers, to ensure quality is integrated throughout the entire software development lifecycle.
• CICD Integration: Integrate test automation scripts into CICD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions) to enable continuous testing and faster feedback loops.
• Mentorship and Code Review: Conduct code reviews, troubleshoot issues, and mentor junior team members to enhance their technical skills and knowledge in automation methodologies.
• Quality Metrics: Define and track key quality metrics and KPIs, such as defect density and automation coverage, to measure the effectiveness of the QA process.
