We are looking for a passionate team member who embodies these values to contribute to our long-term success. We’re looking for an experienced Service Technician to join our team and support our customers with installation, commissioning, and maintenance of actuators and process valves. Reporting to the Service Lead/Manager, you’ll troubleshoot, repair, and service a wide range of valve and automation systems both in-house and on-site.
What You’ll Do Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain valves and automation, specializing in electric operators Disassemble, clean, inspect, reassemble, and test valves and control packages Complete detailed service reports with photos and recommendations Install, commission, and troubleshoot valve assemblies and automation packages Work with internal teams to ensure accurate documentation and as-built drawings Manage your own reporting (hours, expenses, inventory) and maintain required HSE certifications Support outage/turnaround planning and forecasting
About You Instrument Technology Journeyman (or equivalent) + at least 7 years of relevant experience Strong knowledge of pneumatic, hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical systems Hands-on experience with industrial valves, actuators, and gears Ability to read work orders, schematics, P&IDs, and CAD drawings Experience with SCADA, DCS, or HMI systems, an asset Advanced computer skills Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Comfortable lifting 70 lbs and working in shop/site environments Great communication skills and customer-focused mindset Ability to travel throughout Canada Valid passport, clean driver’s abstract, and ability to pass a criminal check
