The Opportunity

Today we are looking to add a Shop Assistant who would be responsible for the daily activities associated with the operation of our sprinkler fabrication shop. The selected candidate will be an integral part of our operation team who are creating Rotaflow’s future.

Qualifications & Skills

• Good communication skills
• Friendly, polite, and professional attitude
• Punctual and dependable
• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License with a good driving record
• Good mechanical aptitude
• Willingness to learn and grow within the company
• Basic computer skills
• Physical ability and endurance to perform shop and warehouse tasks
• Ability to work independently with strong problem-solving skills
• Clear understanding of health and safety policies and commitment to safe work practices
• Forklift and warehouse experience is considered an asset
• Experience in pipe trades, specifically fire protection systems, is considered an asset
• Strong work ethic, discipline, and ability to work as part of a team
• Ability to follow instructions effectively

Scope of Work

• Shipping and receiving
• Picking materials for job-specific orders
• Pickups and deliveries
• Pre-fabrication support
• Cleaning and organizing the shop and warehouse
• Stocking, restocking, and maintaining accurate inventory
